By booking any tour package with Go2Rinjani, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions in full. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (“the Client”) and Go2Rinjani (“the Company”). Please read carefully before proceeding with your booking.

Company Information

Go2Rinjani is a licensed adventure and trekking tour operator based in Lombok, Indonesia, specializing in full-package expeditions to Mount Rinjani (Gunung Rinjani), a UNESCO World Heritage candidate site and the second-highest volcano in Indonesia.

All operations are conducted in compliance with applicable Indonesian tourism law and the regulations set forth by the Rinjani Trekking Management Board (TNGR — Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani).

Booking & Reservation

• A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a 20% non-refundable deposit of the total package price.
• The remaining 80% balance must be paid in full upon arrival at our designated meeting point, prior to the commencement of the tour.
• Bookings are subject to availability. Go2Rinjani reserves the right to decline any reservation at its discretion.
• A booking confirmation will be sent within 24 hours of successful deposit payment.
• All bookings must include accurate personal information: full legal name (as per passport/ID), date of birth, nationality, emergency contact, and any relevant medical conditions.

Package Inclusions & Exclusions

Included in Your Package

• Return land transportation from agreed pick-up point to the trailhead
• Licensed, certified, and experienced professional guide(s)
• Porter service (standard weight allocation per person)
• All meals during the trek as specified in the itinerary
• Camping equipment: tent, sleeping bag, trekking poles, and cooking gear
• National Park entrance fee and porter/guide insurance (BPJS)
• Simaksi (official trekking permit issued by TNGR)

Not Included

• Personal travel insurance (strongly recommended)
• Personal trekking gear (boots, clothing, personal medication)
• Alcoholic beverages and personal expenses
• Gratuities/tips for guides and porters (discretionary)
• Emergency evacuation costs not covered by personal insurance

Health, Fitness & Medical Requirements

Mount Rinjani (3,726 m / 12,224 ft) is a strenuous high-altitude trek requiring a good level of physical fitness. By confirming your booking, you declare that:

• You are in good physical health and fit for high-altitude trekking activities.
• You do not have any medical condition that would put yourself or others at risk during the trek.
• You have disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions to Go2Rinjani in writing prior to departure.
• You accept full personal responsibility for your physical condition during the tour.

Client Responsibilities & Code of Conduct

• Clients must follow all instructions given by the assigned guide at all times during the trek.
• Clients must respect the natural environment and adhere to Leave No Trace principles.
• The collection, removal, or damage of any flora, fauna, rocks, or cultural artifacts within the National Park is strictly prohibited.
• Open fires outside designated areas are prohibited.
• Clients are required to carry their own valid government-issued ID/passport for park entry verification.
• Any behavior deemed disrespectful toward guides, porters, local communities, or fellow trekkers will result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

Limitation of Liability

Go2Rinjani acts as an organizer of outdoor adventure activities in a natural environment. By participating in our tours, clients acknowledge and accept that:

• Trekking in volcanic mountain environments carries inherent risks including, but not limited to, altitude sickness, extreme weather, volcanic activity, and physical injury.
• Go2Rinjani’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the tour package.
• Go2Rinjani is not liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from the client’s own negligence, failure to follow instructions, or undisclosed medical conditions.
• Go2Rinjani is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

Itinerary Changes

Go2Rinjani reserves the right to modify or alter any itinerary at any time before or during the tour. Modifications may be necessary due to:

• Adverse weather conditions or natural disasters
• Volcanic alert level changes issued by PVMBG (Indonesian volcano monitoring authority)
• Park closure orders by TNGR or relevant government authorities
• Safety concerns identified by our guide team

In such events, Go2Rinjani will make best efforts to offer an alternative itinerary of equivalent value. Where this is not possible, the Cancellation Policy shall apply.

Photography & Media Consent

Go2Rinjani may photograph or film activities during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes. By confirming your booking, you grant Go2Rinjani a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such images and footage.

Clients who do not consent must notify us in writing prior to the tour start date.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
